They include: the intersection of Highland Avenue and Manhattan Beach Blvd. at 6:30 a.m. on a Tuesday in October, cars whizzing by our beloved Kettle restaurant, open all night with just good food. (Love the Chicken Tortilla soup!)
The Manhattan Beach Pier always attracts a big crowd, even at the dawn hours, which are a great time to look out at the collection of lifeguard stations. When taken in the morning, the lights from nearby Palos Verdes are still glistening, and you can see the Redondo and Hermosa Beach Piers in the background as well.
Morning, noon or night, it’s always a great time to go under the Pier, our go-to spot for family and engagement photos. Many joggers and surfers and surfers feel the same about time of day, but our morning sticks with dawn. How about you?
